February Half Term Activities

This February half term will be hosting our popular Stay in Play – The theme will be ‘Growing & Gardening’ We will be planting seeds, digging weeds, exploring the gardens through bug hunts and cooking on our cob oven. Thursday will see the return of our popular International Cooking Session.

Apple Day a big success

We had a great day at our annual Apple Day – our busiest yet. With over 150 visitors, those who attended learnt how to press and identify different apple varieties into juice to take home.

Nottingham Blue Barrel Cider now sold in many pubs across Nottingham

Blue Barrel Cider made by the team at Summerwood Community Garden can now be found at many new pubs and bars across Nottingham.

Bee Swarms

It’s that time of year again folks. If you see a bee swarm in the area, please contact us and we will be happy to remove it for you.

We do however only remove honey bee swarms and are not able to assist with the removal of bumble bees.
