WildLife Woodland Easter Sessions @Waterdown Woods

**EXCITING NEWS** We will be running two Woodland sessions during the Easter hols on Waterdown Woods on Tuesday afternoons. Summer Fete 19th August

Come along to our Summer Fete on 19th August 12 – 4pm


There will be BBQ, Cider and ale bar, Bouncy Castle, Kids Activities, pedal powered ice cream, lush cosmetic workshop, animals, face painting and lots more!

Summer Sessions

Over the summer we will be running the following sessions:


Mondays – Youth Session

11 – 1pm


Tuesdays – Stay and Play

11 – 1pm


Thursdays – Grow Cook Eat

11 -1pm

Join us every Thursday for our Grow Cook Eat Enjoy sessions where we’ll be sowing, planting, digging and eating.

Lunch is free and will be harvested using fresh produce from the garden

We will learn basic gardening techniques, harvesting and cooking outside using fresh produce.

All ages welcome

Easter family sessions

We will be running our popular Stay and Play sessions on Tuesdays during the Easter holidays

10:30 – 12:30



Learn to Lunch Free workshops

Join us at the garden for free lunch and workshops on cooking and growing. We’ll be cooking up a feast each week, have visits from professional chefs, free seedlings to take home and kids are welcome to take part too. Its an opportunity not to be missed. Community Garden features on Clifton photography banner

We are proud to announce that photos of the community garden have been included in the Clifton photography banner which is currently being displayed in Clifton library.

Lots of Clifton landmarks including ourselves are among the pictures displayed and coordinated by the library.

Green Flag Community Award 2015 / 2016

We finally went and picked up our Green Flag Award and now it is proudly flying at the community garden.

Thanks for all the volunteers who help down the garden we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!



Night Light Lantern Making workshop

We are running a kids workshop on Tuesday 2nd Feb, after school to make lanterns out of willow on the site.

This is a free workshop and is open to all ages

Pop down and create a beautiful lantern which we will display on the Council’s Night Light event on Friday 5th Feb.
